Word has just been received by his parents that Private George Thistlethwaite died of wounds received in ac tion at the 3rd Canadian Casualty Station on 13th October. Private Thistlethwaite leaves a young wife as well as his parents and other relatives to mourn their loss as he was married in England recently while on leave. His three brothers, Will, Jock, and Gordon, are on active service,. General sympathy will be extended to the family in their sad loss.
