Excerpt of Biography
"Albert Prentice would have been embarrassed to be called a hero. The modern-day trend to refer to all war veterans as heroes would not have sat easily with him, for he was a modest man. However, he was something of a legend, particularly in his adopted hometown of New Norfolk in the Derwent Valley of Tasmania. This is the story of how a humble grocer became that legend."
