Brother of Harold Cooper (born as Flavel) who died of wounds on 9 August 1918 having while serving with the 27th Battalion and was buried in the Adelaide Cemetery, Plot 111, Row M, Grave 4; Sydney Roy Cooper who died on wounds on 11 April 1917 while serving with the 48th Battalion and has no known grave
