Son of  Richard Milne and Elizabeth Helen SHAW, Gregory Street, Mackay, Queensland

HE DID WHAT HE COULD WITH A GOOD HEART

Mr. R. Shaw, Wood Street, was officially advised yesterday of the death of his son, Private Richard Stewart Shaw, who enlisted in Mackay in August 1915.  He landed in France in March of last year, and was wounded in November.  After recovering, he was sent back to France and was fighting there when killed.  He was only 22 years of age.
