MR. P. McGUINESS, late Headmaster Stete School, Kurrawang. (Killed in action in France, on May 6.) Mr. McGuiness entered thc Education Department in 1897 at assistant at. the Perth Boys' School. Subsequently he held positions as head teacher of rural and goldfields schools. The deceased soldier was highly esteemed by his colleagues and scholars.
