Son of Mrs Margaret Alcorn, 4 Pacific Parade, Manly, New South Wales
Prlvate R. F. Collins (died of wounds) was born in Grafton, and was 20 years of age. He was the youngest son of Mrs. H. Alcorn, of Pacific Parade, Manly, and wns a well-known local sport. He wns a keen local boxing, swimming, nnd cycling enthusiast, and left behind him many medals and trophies won. A special mass in connection with the decascd soldier was held at the Church of Our Lady Immaculate, Manly, on Sunday last, the celebrant being the Rev. Father Simmons.
