Son of Charles Shannon HETHERINGTON and Annie nee HEALY
Husband of Madge Beverley HETHERINGTON nee McMILLAN
After the war, Dick returned to Western Queensland and married Madge McMillan. It is belived that Dick worked at the Winton Wool Scour, and was said to have a beautiful singing voice. They had no children, and after Madge's sudden death in 1957, dick later retired to Caboolture, where he was living in the RSL Eventide home in 1967.
