5 May 1917: Discharged AIF WW1, Driver, 1679, 21st Field Artillery (Howitzer) Brigade, Medical Discharge: 23/05/1917, Last Unit: 21st Field Artillery Brigade, France; after date: 22/02/1917, was not in active duty (AIF-WWI). Upon arrival, & disembarking the Hospital Ship, H.S. Karoola. Driver: Thomas LYNCH, SN 1649; was debilitated from his condition when he left France, as per stated (NAA, Pg-5, & Pg-75). Thomas LYNCH was immediately admitted to Brisbane Hospital; was debilitated from an illness, Aortic Disease, to his eventual death: 05/09/1917, Brisbane Hospital, Brisbane, Qld.
