He was the son of Mrs J J Hudson of 59 John’s Park, Blackheath.

He is remembered on the Hendon War Memorial in Middlesex.

He is one of two Australian casualties of the Great War who are commemorated on the  Hendon War Memorial. There is also an Australian born who served and died with British forces.

Hendon War Memorial in Hendon, North London is located on the central reservation at the junction between Watford Way [A41]and The Burroughs. It was moved to its present location in 1962.
