Son of J. Baldie and Isabella Baldie nee Cameron of 'Little Dean', Teneriffe, QLD. Brother of Helen Dryburgh Baldie, Georgina Muriel Baldie, Robert Douglas Baldie who was killed in action on 8 May 1915 while serving with the 9th Battalion. He is buried in the Shell Green Cemetery.
