"..5108 Private John Wheeler, 36th Battalion, of Corrimal, NSW. A miner prior to enlisting on 18 January 1916, he embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Ajana on 5 July 1916. He died of wounds in France on 12 December 1916, aged 25." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
