Robert was born on 15 Feb. 1891 in Glenrowan, Victoria, Australia.

To the parents of Allan & Anne Lindsay. He had four brothers and three sisters.

Robert enlisted into the Australian Imperial Force on 4 June 1915 in Victoria Australia. He returned home from the war in late 1919, where he moved down to Melbourne, Australia. Bob died in 1949 at the age of,
