Personal Stories
William Lukey Recollections
Only anecdotal evidence from my grandmother. William Lukey was married to my grandmothers sister Adelaide Underwood. The story repeated to me was that William was shot in the head on active service, but survived. Returned home and married. According to my grandmother's recollections he would sit for hours on the front porch rocking. He died a young age. There was one daughter.
