Son of Tom and Eliza Ann George of Kemmis Street, Randwick, NSW. Brother of Wesley Tom George, Norman W. George, Ivy E. George, Arthur George, Walter W. George and Roy Wesley George who was killed in action 5 April 1915 while serving with the 45th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on Villers-Bretonneux Memorial
