Reginald Hainsworth MUSGROVE  was born at Balranald about January 1897. He enlisted in the AIF in January 1915 at Liverpool. He gave his calling as ‘Engineer’ and stated that he had been apprenticed at the Railway Department, Eveleigh, for three years. The 1916 Annual Report in recording his death on active service describes him as an apprentice fitter.
He left Australia through Sydney on 23rd June 1915 on HMAT ‘Ceramic’ as part of the 1st Reinforcements for the 12th Light Horse Regiment but transferred to the 6th Light Horse on 2nd October 1915.
He was transported to Gallipoli soon after, as dismounted infantry. He died there on 9th November. He is buried at Shell Green Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.
