The son of William and Elizabeth CORNISH, Emo Road, East Malvern, Victoria. His remains were discovered during 1930 by the War Graves Separtment near Pozieres with no less than 4 identity discs, which were returned to his father during May 1930, prior to Richard's reinterment in the Serre Road No.2 Cemetery.
