Pte 2130 Francis Ernest Cinquegrana was taken on strenght as one of 150 reinforcements sent up to Steele's Post on the night of 6 August 1915, in readiness for an attack on German Officer's Trench early the next morning.

He was killed in action during the attack on 7 July 1915, and only 30 of the reinforcements answered the roll call the next day.
