Son of Walter George Vincent and Mary Elizabeth Vincent nee Lamont of Isabella Grove, Hawthorn, Victoria.
Brother of Garnet Vincent who returned to Australia on 15 March 1916 having served with the 3rd Battalion and Walter Vincent who was killed in action at Mont St. Quentin on 1 September 1918 while serving with the 23rd Battalion. Buried in Peroone Communal Cemetery Extension, Plot V, Row A, Grave 11
