Son of Ernest and Ellen (nee Walker) Berkinshaw had peviously served in the Cadet Force as a Sergeant

"THE LATE PRIVATE W. E. BERKINSHAW.

Private W. E. Berkinshaw was the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Berkinshaw, of 223, King William-street. He was wounded in France in August last, sent to England for some months, and returned to France, where he died on December 16.
