6026 Private George Vivian Andrews who was in his platoon states..
"Wright in the 13th Reinforcements was killed by a premature burst of a (Stokes) Trench Mortar when we were practicing for the hop over at Ypres, about the end of May or beginning of June. This was at Warloy Woods, and he was killed outright. The premature burst killed 4 and wounded 12. He was buried in Warloy Cemetery - A full Military funeral, all the Battalion attended, and a cross was put over with his name and number and the Battalion Colours. He came from Victoria somewhere, a small ruddy faced chap in my Platoon."
Andrews would be himself killed on September 1st, 1918
