3392 Private Lachlan Thomas Calder McMahon of the 47th Australian Infantry Brigade returned to Australia from active service on 18 July 1919, age 20. Lachlan re-enlisted (Q133064) in 1942 when he became a member of the Volunteer Defence Corps with the 11th Training Battalion in Queensland.
