PRIVATE BERT ROGERS
Pte Bert Rogers, killed in action on 28th April, sailed from Australia on 28th January, 1916. Prior to enlisting, the deceased soldier carried on a hairdressing business in Main street. He was 37 years of age, and leaves a widow and three young children.
