Son of William Charles Quinn and Elizabeth (Bessie) Amy Quinn nee Williams of Spring Street, South Grafton, NSW.
Failed to re-embark at Fremantle, WA on 9 November 1916. Re-embarked on 29 January 1917 aboard Miltiades with the re-inforcements for the 51st Battalion.
Commenced return to Australia on 2 June 1919 aboard HT Beltana disembarking on 19 July 1919
