Edgar Russell Franks was known as "Jack". Before he enlisted he was a member of the Loyal Lodge Kildare, Blacktown.
Edgar Russell Franks is remembered on the Blacktown Soldiers Memorial inscribed as "J. Franks". He is also remembered on the Blacktown Loyal Lodge Kildare and Quakers Hill Honour Rolls.
