Son of William Arthur and Esther Allen, of 35, Quested Buildings, Brett Rd., Hackney, London, England. Born at Kingston-on-Thames.

Brother of 746 Sergeant William Vincent ALLEN, 11th Bn, killed in action, 2 May 1915.

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

Served for 2 years in West Australian Infantry Regiment, Citizen Military Forces, Geraldton.
