Son of John and Sarah Jane Quinlan of Wilson Street, Middle Brighton, Victoria formerly of Kyneton, Victoria.
Next of kin given as his brother Edmund (Edward) Isidore Quinlan of Mitiamo via Bendigo, Victoria. Edmund returned to Australia on 28 June 1919 having served with the 57th Battalion
