Private Alan Raitt – A very warm welcome was accorded Pte. Alan Raitt on his return to Busselton on Tuesday, after a long absence at the war. Pte. Raitt was amongst those Westralians who were unfortunately captured by the enemy, and for some time he suffered considerable hard ships at the hands of the Huns. For some time, he was posted as missing,  and the worst was feared. He is the son of Mrs. E. Raitt, of Duchess street, whose second son, Ernest, paid the supreme sacrifice.
