Son of William Henry and Annie Baird of Inverell Road, Armidale, NSW. Brother of John McDonald Baird who was killed in action on 12 November 1916 while serving with the 19th Battalion and was buried in the Warlencourt British Cemetery. Plot 11, Row K, Grave 34
