"LATE LCE.-CPL. E. DAWES.

News has been received by Miss Dawes, of Chanfield, Lameroo, that her brother, Lce.-Cpl. Eric Dawes, son of Mr. J. H Dawes, of Robertstown, was killed in France. Deceased, who was about 27 years old, was engaged in agricultural work when he enlisted on November 4, 1916. He sailed on December 18, 1916, and was killed in the present month.
