He was 27 and the son of H. William and Ellen Corker, of 3, Bentley Grove, Meanwood, Leeds, England.

In England he worked at the Crayford Tannery where his father was tanyard manager.

Family lived at The Bridge, Crayford  and worked in Crayford tanyards.

Memorial in the Manor House, Crayford  and he is honoured on the the Bexley Roll of Honour.
