Son of John and Hughena HUNTER, 71 Union Street, Paddington, Sydney

Sergeant Hector Norman Hunter, of C Company, 18th Battalion, killed in action, left with his brother, Sergeant Reg. J. Hunter, of D Company, 19th  Battalion, on June 25 last. He was trained as a cadet at area 24A, under the late Major Swannell. He was promoted to sergeant a few days before going  into action. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hunter, late of Cobar and Wrightville.
