Son of Frank Alleyn EDOLS & Lilian Frances (Fanny) BOWLER who married in Forbes in 1886

Mr. Frank A. Edols, of Burrawang station, near Forbes, has received news of the death of his eldest son, Sergeant Alleyn Thomas Edols.  Young Edols, who was about 25 years of age and over 6ft high, was attached to the 14th Battery of the 5th Field Artillery, and went straight to Frnace after being in Egypt.  He belonged to one of the oldest and best known pastoral families in New South Wales.
