892 Private Clyde Francis Hord enlisted under the alais of Stanley Hernan ( mis-spelt) Herman.
This being his older brothers Given name and his Mothers Maiden name.
Ironically his Brother 918 Private Edward Stanley Hord enlisted under the alais of Patrick Joseph McLeod.
Both brothers were allocated to the initial draft of the 24th Infantry Battalion and posted to D Company of that Unit.
