Life after the war
James McCulloch was my Grandfather and as a child a knew him as a big tall man who was slightly hard of hearing, I now know why. It was because he was a gunner during WW1.
James Hogg McCulloch worked for Wallaroo Mt Lyall Fertilizers for most of his working life, where he eventually made Works Manager of Wallaroo Works. He undertook war service during World War I and chemistry studies in Glasgow at the end of the war.
