'ROLL OF HONOUR.

DALE.— Died of gunshot wounds on 28th October, in France, Private Edward George Dale, aged 25 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Dale, East Brisbane.

His King and country called him,
The call was not in vain;
For on our roll of honour,
You will find our hero's name.

DALE.— In memory of Private Edward George Dale, Northcote street, East Brisbane, died from gunshot wounds, on the 28th October, 1917. Deeply mourned.

Somewhere in France he is sleeping,
Away from Australia's shore;
May his soul find rest in heaven,
In peace for evermore.
