Biography contributed by Lucas Lemmer

James "Hervey" Hervey Goulding, was the son of Annie Elizabeth Ehrke and William Thompson Goulden, who was his estranged father. Born on the 11th of December 1892, England. That same month and year he moved to Australia, and arrived about the 27th of February of 1893.

On the 17 of May 1897, his little sister, Ivy Mary Clifford Goulding was born. In 1916, she would marry Harold Victor Lemmer (1891-1972). They would have two kids, Harold Hervey Lemmer (1917-1990) and Frank Malcolm Lemmer (1919-1990), who'd both serve in WW2, in the medical corps, just like Hervey.

On the 23rd of June 1917, he was discharged. In 1921, he married Mary Williams born 1891, they would be married for about 53 years. These two never had any kids. In 1934, his mother Annie, passed. And in 1939, his Estranged father.

On the 14 of Jan 1974, Mary passed away at around 83. Then in 1975 on the 18th of May, he passed away at the ripe old age of 82. And both of their ashes spread at Springvale Botanical Cemetery.
