Private Prank Kirkpatrick Dickson (killed) was the elder son of the late James Dickson, H.M. Customs, Sydney, and Mrs. Dickson, ‘ ‘ Wharekoa, ’ ’ Bardwell-road, Mosman. He was 19 years of age, and was educated at Fort street, most of his time since then having been spent in the country. He was the grandson of Mr. James Dickson, Birkenhead, Auckland, and Mr. Thomas Irwin, Tiligra, Dungog.
