AWM Biographical note:
1918 Sergeant Francis James Kellaway, 36 Battalion, AIF, who, during a raid on the German line in the Messines sector on 3 March 1918, was killed in action. Other biographical details concerning him are as follows: pipe fitter of Waratah, NSW; born at Callington, SA; educated at a state school; enlisted in the AIF on 17 April 1916; age at time of death, 25 years.
