Son of Henry Charles and Ellen Williams of Preston Avenue, Donnybrook, WA. Brother of John Francis Williams who was killed in action on 12 August 1916 while serving with the 16th Battalion and has no known grave.  His name appears on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial
