| 18 May 1917: | Honoured Military Medal, Military Medal 'On the afternoon of the 18th May, an ammunition pit was set on fire. Driver CARGILL obtained water and rendered the greatest assistance in extinguishing the fire while the ammunition was exploding and was particularly dangerous owing to the fact that in the dump there was a number of gas shells already fuzed.'
