Biography contributed by Sharyn Roberts

Son of Alfred and Clara RIDLEY

Private Arthur Ridley, son of Mr and Mrs A. Ridley, of Bena, was killed in action on the west front recently. The deceased young soldier, who was 23 years of age, was a splendid type of a young Australian. He served at Gallipoli, and afterwards in France, where he received wounds which caused his death.
