Son of George J. Venteman and Elizabeth Jane Venteman of Nethsdale Street, Sydney, NSW formerly of Mudgee, NSW

Apprentice to Electical Contracting Coy of Sydney, NSW for four and a half years. 

Commenced return to Australia on 6 July 1919 aboard HT Boorara disembarking on 26 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

During 1921c George married Ellen G. Rodgers in Sydney, NSW
