Brother of Wiliam A. GREAVES, Stanley Street, Auckland, New Zealand.

Charles was wounded in action at Gallipoli, 6-7 August 1915 and admitted to the Hospital Ship 'Delta' with gun shot wound, andleft arm amputated on 7 August 1915.  He died of wounds (gangrene) on 9 August 1915 and was buried at sea between Anzac Cove and Alexandria.
