    Son of Eliz Dunlop of 100 Peacock Street, Gravesend, Kent, England. Brother of George Alfred Dunlop who was killed in action on 2 May 1915 while serving with the 10th Battalion

    Had previously  served in the Naval Reserves for about 5 years
