PTE. T. E. DAVIS.
Private T. E. Davis was just 21 years of age. He left with one of the earliest detachments for the front, and news has just been received of his death in action on May 2, at the Dardanelles. He was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Davis, sen., of Merton Lane, Bourke, and prior to going to the front had followed the occupation of a station hand, being employed by the Paroo Shearing Co.
