Son of Norman and Rachel BUCKMAN, Post Office, Port Melbourne

Won a 4 year scholarship to the University of Melbourne.

PTE. N. K. BUCKMAN
Mr. Joseph Fletcher of Liebig-street, has received a letter from his nephew, Pte. N. K. Buckman, of the 4th Infantry Brigade, describing the camp at  Zeitoun, Egypt, and also Cairo and the Pyramids, the principal one of which he climbed. He was in the machine-gun school, and expected to be at the front in July.

BUCKMAN.—In loving memory of our Bonnie laddie, Lance-Corporal N. K. Buckman (Ken), machine gun section, 14th Battalion, killed in action at Bullecourt, 11th April, 1917.
