When William Leonard (Bill) CARLILE was born on 4 November 1888, his father, William, was 31 and his mother, Margaret, was 21.

He died on 22 June 1970 in Ipswich, Queensland, at the age of 81 and his ashes were interred at the Mt Thompson Memorial Gardens
