Son of Ernest Alfred Adams and Ada M. Adams of 'Singapore', Gravesend, NSW

First time:- Commenced return to Australia on 31 October 1915 aboard HT Aeneas  disembarking on 26 November 1915 for discharge due to wounding and Synovitis of the knee. Later re-enlisted 

Second time:- Commenced return to Australia on 8 September 1919 aboard HT Raranga disembarking on 29 October 1919
