Bernard Seidel

Bernard Field Seidel was born in Fitzory, Victorian in 1893, the fifth of seven children born to Maria Jane Seidel (nee Field) and John Herman Seidel. The family moved from Kew, Melbourne to Hobart after 1910. Bernard married Vera Smith in 1916 - not long before enlisting. The couple had no children. Bernard was the cousin of my grandfather, Herbert Field.
