Son of James George Blue (1858-1915) and Frances Elizabeth Barnett (1864-1944).

George Henry Blue was born on 14 January 1897 in Balmain, New South Wales.

He married Violet Frakes on 31 March 1923 in Sydney, New South Wales.

He died on 1 July 1966 at the age of 69.
